Wear it over a party top/dress
How to get this look: As monsoon hits India and wind is keeping summers cold in San Francisco city, we ask ourselves if we should wear our off shoulder party tops or not. We worry about it getting too cold and we can’t even wear a jacket over it because its not so cold as well! What I do this season is to wear a shirt creatively over my strapless/sleeveless top. It not only keeps me away from cold and gives a stylish look but also my formal shirt fits inside my smallest bag easily! Also, this is a good and easy fashion look to get when you have to travel in muni or metros and you think that your party top is too much of attention which you don’t want to get.
In Trend? I have seen many girls doing this in San Francisco so I would say this fashion statement is in trend although we don’t really talk about it on fashion blogs!
How to carry this off well: Just wear a long and dark colored shirt, longer the better as it will make you look like a fashionista. Dark colors will keep you away from cold and I am sure your main dress inside is bright (as we are in summer season) so dark over bright will go well. Now talking about the color of your shirt, I just made an assumption but it depends on how cold the weather is and and if you are really wearing something bright inside. To get a more trendy look, wear your top and shirt over a denim short!
