Easy Bohemian/Boho Chick look
This weekend, I decided to embrace the summer with a difference and tried a bit of boho chick look! If you are wondering what exactly a boho look is, don’t worry as that is what we are going to talk about in this blog today. Boho or bohemian is an influenced look by hippie culture. Remember how those people in Goa dressed up (no I am not talking about Indian Goans)? Or some other young people in Brooklyn? Crazy hair, loose clothes, accessories made up of beads and stones. I hope I am able to give you a clear picture of this look 🙂
I have been in love with this careless look since the time I din’t even know that I am dressed up like a hippie or bohemian! Last year also on my Goa trip, I got woolen braiding done on my hair and bought those wrap around skirts with some elephant prints. I used to be dressed like a hippie while wandering in the streets of Goa or sometimes when I felt like dressing casual in Mumbai. But since the time I have read (and I read a lot) about it, I feel like trying more of it in different variations as there is so much you can do with this look.
This time, I just experimented with this stole that I bought from Mount Abu and tried to match it up with my long asymmetric dress. There are plenty of ways in which you can wear a stole and using it as a head band or head wrap is just one of them. This is the best way you keep your hair safe and in shape while you also look stylish and fashionable. Especially if you are on a long travel or are biking. Remember how much those strong winds mess up with your hair? And by the time you reach home, you have hundreds of tangles in there. Using a stole could be a solution if you experience this a lot. This is my first boho look and there will more coming up on the blog with various ways to use a stole in daily life. Stay tuned as you might be surprised to know who much glamour a simple stole can add to your look.
