Make this Winter as colorful as Summers!
The reason I am writing this blog is because every winter, I miss adding more colors to my clothing and I am sure some you must be wondering is there a way to add some more colors each time you have to wear those dark color jackets/sweaters to stay warm! Since I live in a city that never snows, I have the opportunity to combine my winter clothing with summer clothing as that way I not only stay warm but also colorful.
These pictures were taken outside California Academy of Life Sciences and I not only love the inside of the Cal Academy but also how gorgeous it is from the outside. First of all, I love the way it is build and how huge it is. Then there is a gorgeous waterfall, so many beautiful leafless trees in front of Cal Academy that are structured in an organized way. Besides everything else, I also love that there is an Indian food truck at a corner that I have noticed on weekends.
Talking about my colorful clothing, I decided to wear my red and woolen top outside of the blue dress. Both of these – the dress and the top are my summer wear and honestly I was bored of wearing same jackets and overcoats that I decided to experiment with this! I also wore my woolen poncho on top of my dress and what I love about a poncho is that it goes well on everything, be it a dress of a jeans. On my lazy day-outs, I just wear my poncho over a normal t-shirt and I feel all dressed to go out. How easy can it get?! In the beginning, I was apprehensive to try red over blue as both the colors are bright dark and they definitely stand out, but as I tried them I realized that I love to stand out and that was main reason I am trying out bright colors in the first place. Also, my poncho did a nice color blocking for that red and blue clothing. Off course, it wasn’t so cold here on the day when I wore this but it was still fall and the whole Christmas spirit encouraged me wear something woolen.
